Hi All,

I am putting together my computer repair business and I have come to a point where I need some kind of solution not only to manage CRM and services but something more to manage the business and financial side.

I am looking to manage my cashflow, profit and loss, accounting, invoicing, etc. and all the financials aspects of the business. Can you recommend solutions or packages any of you are using for this kind of stuff?

Thanks all for any input and help you can provide. :)

if you want all of that managed, you need something like ConnectWise or AutoTask. And I honestly don't think either of them act as an accounting package, but might export to QuickBooks.

Usually, I just use QuickBooks and a CRM thing I made for myself that I may or may not release.

So quickbooks? How about the other packages that Intuit offers, I am looking into those as well. Any experience using those?

Thanks!

Choice is really up to you

I used https://billingmanager.intuit.com for 2 years with my business - a good free invoicing package, When I opened my storefront I needed something faster & more robust. I am a Linux user but I keep a MS box up front just for Quickbooks. Peachtree is an option to but it has a LOT higher learning curve.

If you know MS Access a little (not much is needed) you can do everything from that alone, If you do not have Access get the free DB from Openoffice.org.

I went to QB for the added benefits of inventory & accepting credit cards right in the invoice to save a step.
