Can tasks & memos sync with MS Exchange using a Droid?

Was curious about this. I currently have a Blackberry Storm 2 setup with exchange for my own use and use my tasks and memopad a lot on it. I want to keep using my storm 2, but there is a SIP softphone app that is not supported by blackberry that I really want to use (I did research and found out that blackberries cannot support SIP softphone apps). I would gladly switch to a droid, but I see that tasks and memos will not sync with an exchange server.

Has anyone found a way to sync both tasks and memos with a droid?

We set up a client recently doing exactly that via hosted exchange. So far it seems to work well. There is an issue with Droid 2.2 however - make sure your device is/can run 2.3

The feature for tasks and notes isn't built into Android (yet?), mostly because Google wants you to use their services. Android is built with tight integration to Google apps. If you're absolutely unable to use Google Apps (or prefer exchange), you can use third party software to sync.

It uses active sync. It's not an issue with Active Sync, it's an issue with the built in app on Droids. They don't sync tasks, specifically.

Touchdown just seems to be more like "Outlook". I actually use a different app for calendar stuff.

Droids don't even sync google tasks, which I find rather odd. You have to install a 3rd party app to do that, at least on my version anyway.
