Can barely see print

install a new ink cartridges; both black and colors, but can barely see print. i have tried to do "head cleaning" by printer settings, and print as demo. nothing happens. see the picture below. any idea?

my advice exactly...ink is cheaper in the long run

How long was it since the printer last ran? ink has a habit of drying out on the head and blocking it up. You can get inkjet cleaning fluid and in conjunction with a lint free wipe, you can give the head a bit of a clean. if there is any crud blocking it should help a little.

it will never be the same again though so you may need to buy the head+cartridge combo to replace the damaged head if you are not satisfied with the output. At that point you might as well buy a new printer!!
