CalDav not synchronizing

I use CalDav to synchronize my Google and Outlook (365) calendars – apparently Google has now instigated OAuth access protocols and its stopped working – is there a work around for this
I can always get a different calendar app, but Google is very convenient.

Have you tried using an app password?

There are many reasons why 3rd party sync can fail:
Windows updates
Office updates
The sync software itself (uninstall/reinstall)
Google's 2 step has to be off to use the app password
the new Microsoft connector isn't updated for the browser to connect (Edge or another browser), requires Chrome to be default (can change it after)

The Microsoft connector is probably the issue to be honest. It only requires you to be logged into Google via Chrome.

I think an Office update smoked that one for you.
