I think he's quoting Wind chill / "Feels like" values, and in Centigrade. -50C equals -58F.Couldn't imagine -50
That is all they do if you are lucky, most of the time it IS just water.I'm guessing that what they put in was basically blue water.

Historical data for Sudbury (where he lives) in January say the coldest low was on Jan 28th at -37.1C with maximum wind speed gusts of 50Km/hr, which, according to this calculator, equates to -59C (-74F). So it seems to me that his -50 was clearly referring to Wind chill or "Feels like" temperature in Celsius. I rest my case.Hmmm.... Not so sure.
