Okay, I have a Gateway SX2110G-UW318 slim desktop computer.
A couple of weeks ago I had a friend whom I let borrow, borrow my hard drive and Dvd-rom drive from me. He came to my house when I was away and had to have been scared because the sata port and power to both hard drive and Dvd-rom drive were BROKEN OFF!

Well I figured this out just a week ago after what I assumed wasn't nothing to terribly wrong but a couple of power wires and sata data connection wires I had to replace.

Come to find out that I had to get another power supply to fix the power connection problem $69.99 on amazon okay I'm ****** off but whatever. And I had a couple of extra sata cables lying around.

I install the power supply.. it was a lite-on and the original was a chicony, both 220w power supplys for a Gateway SX2110G-UW318 Desktop computer.

This is after I go to my friends house, raise hell and get my drives back.

Anyway I install the hard drive original I had in the computer and dvd-rom drive, a newer upgrade from about 1 year ago, I think it was a pioneer. AND NOTHING ON THE LCD SCREEN SHOWS UP!

The cpu fan is spinning at a lesser fan speed rate than normal and there is no video output, we'll nothing poping up with the Gateway logo anyways but the LCD and another monitor I know both are working never see a Gateway logo when starting the computer.

The computer is not turning on correctly possibly something else is wrong but what could it be? If you have an answer or comment please share with me because I have another tower older pc that is doing the same thing except nothing was speedily ripped from this tower machine. Please Help!

These questions seem the same type as an END USER would be asking.
Also a Gateway SX2110G-UW318 slim desktop computer would not be used by a professional.
