Becareful about saying YES on the phone

Ever wonder why when your phone rings someone keeps saying can you you hear me? or are you "John Doe"? this has a very high chance of being a scam and they are recording you.

I get this every few days i keep saying no and hang up LOL i check number before hand 99% time it some voip number i can also hear alot of people talking in background call center out of country.
I called my phone provider said they can't trace it the number is spoofed before christmas they are installing new equipment to be able to filter out spoofers.
