With their new 4.0 layout that isn't as smooth or intuitive.

their "VPN" services...

I feel like theres more popups advertising now...

I sell it/bundle it with virus removals/cleanups to customers with no real protection... but it's getting a bit ad heavy...

Yall still use it, or what did you switch to?

We have MBAM Endpoint on 300 systems. We won't be renewing. We're going to Defender ATP.

Not sure if Bitdefender Gravity zone would suite you model.

We use MBEP for our commercial clients - no complaints so far. Protection seems good and decent profit margin. Wish I could get a single dashboard without upgrading to a different service, though.

I just helped a client last week who was ride or die Mbam until I proved his Outlook was not working with it on. I told him to contact MBAM lol.

One of 2 simple fixes. Clean reinstall with the support tool or
Restore the advanced options for Exploit Protection as those settings have been known to sometimes cause issues with MS Office applications, including Outlook. To do so, open Malwarebytes and access settings by clicking the small gear icon in the upper right, then select the Security tab and scroll down to the Exploit Protection section then click the Advanced settings button and click the Restore Defaults button on the lower left, then click Apply and wait around 20 seconds for the protection to refresh, then test to see if Outlook works.

I hope that fixes it, I'd hate to be recommending, selling, and installing software that is causing problems!

We all take that risk every day with any software we install or recommend. Any software can cause unintended problems out of our control. No programmer starts his day with "Hmm, how can I build this update to break the most computers?", and even multiple levels of testing and miss some obscure combination of drivers or hardware that ends up being an issue. It's a fact of life in our business.

Ok, here's a question. MBAS is an anti-malware product. If you have an antivirus that also claims to be antimalware, do you even need Malwarebytes?

The interesting bit is the list of AVs on the right and the counts. Not a controlled study, of course, but interesting, nonetheless. I think I'll send this link to some of my residential clients who are clinging to Avast.

It would be more interesting if they removed Adware hits. I'll bet most of the Hack/Password tools detected are Nirsoft Utilities in use by Technibble members. :) In many ways, it indicates popularity of various AVs rather than their effectiveness.
