I am the founder of TechReputation.com and would like the opportunity to chime in here. I'm a little hesitant to say anything after being referred to as a joker, flaky and money pit of a company, but here goes:
In full-disclosure, this is a white-label solution of Reputation Loop that I licensed and I started this business towards the end of last year.
I own a computer repair shop called Avante Computers in Oak Harbor, WA. I have owned it for the past six years and grew it from a break-fix to a nice residential MSP with over 325 computers. Due to health issues with my wife, I brought on some business partners and now manage just the MSP portion so that I can work from home, help my wife, and focus my efforts on growing TechReputation.com
My background before purchasing the computer business was in traditional marketing, then digital marketing, including seo, pay-per-click advertising, and conversion optimization. I used all those skills to grow my business over the last six years.
Due to the poor reputation of the previous owner of the business I purchased, I invested heavily in a solution that allowed me to follow up automatically via email with my customers after a sales receipt was generated in Quickbooks at the time.
