I agreed to the free trial, and am in the process of setting this up. It is supposed to automate requests for a review from your clients on several review sites including google local and yelp. It then tracks all your reviews daily, etc. It's a nice idea and very appealing if it works, since I'm a one-man army and hardly have time to do this by myself. So, I'm curious what the crowd thinks of this?

Oh, I just happened to google automated review systems and of course, there's a ton of these sites out there, several of which look a bit better and less expensive than techreputation. So now I've got lots to consider. Is anyone out there using any automated review systems?

So they were promoting themselves on FB the other day. EVERYTHING about the service looks sketchy.

Their promo video is cute but is filled with space filler material. The companies they tout as having enormous success actually have an average of 2 star reviews, so obviously it isn't *that* effective.

They have paid shills claiming they've been using it for YEARS and enjoyed success, but the product only was launched last year, so I asked "how?". No answer.

Also, when I Google THEM, damned if I could find a review on them. So obviously they don't use their own software, or it is not effective.

And to top it all off, it is a product that is intended to mitigate the negative aspect of negative social media reviews and comments... yet they sure didn't intercept my pseudo-negative comments.

All-in-all, I like the idea, but for $1200+ USD / year, I'd like a company that actually has a proven track record and doesn't come across as flaky as this company.

but for $1200+ USD / year
I about spilled my drink on my keyboard. $1200/yr? Hell, I can pay my daughters college friends $5 to write a jam up review on Facebook which is picked up on Google Local search. Imagine how many positive reviews I can get with that much money. But then again, if you do a good job, provide great service and have either or both returning customers or new customers from referrals, why bother with reviews?

Thank you, all of you! After looking at a few of these sites, I realize how bad techreputation is. I was so turned on by the IDEA of a service like this, that I made the mistake of assuming it was unique, which clearly it is not. Feeling relieved that I did not upload my client database to these jokers. Looking now at getfivestars, thanks CalldrDave!

I wouldn't say the service is bad. A little google reverse image search shows it's white-labeled reputation loop. If you look at the sales video it even says wlsales (white label sales) and cross-referencing that on YouTube shows dozens of vendors using it. I'm a big believer in reputation management. GetFiveStars had let me capture a massive amount of feedback from feedback. Honestly, the negative ones we tend to drop :-). It helps me prune out problems customers.

Hello everyone,

I am the founder of TechReputation.com and would like the opportunity to chime in here. I'm a little hesitant to say anything after being referred to as a joker, flaky and money pit of a company, but here goes:

In full-disclosure, this is a white-label solution of Reputation Loop that I licensed and I started this business towards the end of last year.

I own a computer repair shop called Avante Computers in Oak Harbor, WA. I have owned it for the past six years and grew it from a break-fix to a nice residential MSP with over 325 computers. Due to health issues with my wife, I brought on some business partners and now manage just the MSP portion so that I can work from home, help my wife, and focus my efforts on growing TechReputation.com

My background before purchasing the computer business was in traditional marketing, then digital marketing, including seo, pay-per-click advertising, and conversion optimization. I used all those skills to grow my business over the last six years.

Due to the poor reputation of the previous owner of the business I purchased, I invested heavily in a solution that allowed me to follow up automatically via email with my customers after a sales receipt was generated in Quickbooks at the time. This was way before all the reputation and review management solutions were available and I invested over $200 per month in the solution. Combined with hand-written thank you cards, we turned the business around in a very short period of time. Needless to say, I saw first-hand what the power of positive reviews can do for your IT business.

Last year I decided to find a white-label solution that I could use to help other shops like mine garner more positive reviews, manage all the efforts in one dashboard and improve their local search listings. I want to help busy shop owners automate and implement review management as a system and an integral part of their marketing at an economical price point. Hence, TechReputation.com was born.

There are dozens of solutions on the market, so why choose TechReputation.com? Truthfully, most of the solutions are very similar when it comes to the features of automation with emails and / or text messaging.

This is the value that I hope to bring to the table:

* The service was founded by a fellow IT business owner that understands your business completely.
* I provide one-on-one support and setup of the service and my cell phone is on the website for direct contact.
* I have experience with local seo and can provide guidance if you are having troubles ranking highly
* I integrated the service to work with RepairShopr & SyncroMSP via zapier for truly set it and forget it automation, with more to come
* An economical price point starting at $30 per month.
* Better local search engine results using our built-in integration with Yext in the same dashboard to manage all your business information
across over 50 directory / review sites in the same dashboard. This usually requires a separate service and one was of the main reasons
I chose Reputation Loop as a partner. Garnering more reviews and consistent business information has been proven to help with local
seach engine rankings in Google maps.

Yes, this is a startup business. I will have honest reviews soon. Feedback from actual users has been positive. Hopefully the bio above will give more insight into my intentions and goals of helping you, not just take your hard earned money.

I have not used them but i am a member of several fb computer owner groups and a lot of people are using them and getting good results. I have no personal experience but them seem to be helping other computer business get reviews among other things. I am never for this sort of thing but the results many reputable computer companies are getting are hard to ignore and worth looking into.
