Hey guys, I recently stumbled on to some very interesting software titles made by a company called "PC Disk Tools". They have some really interesting products, 3 of which I am interested in actually using however I would like to know if you guys have ever used them, and if they're reliable and malware free.

The software titles areThe first one is a windows based utility that looks for all your passwords and usernames as well as network passwords (Much like WirelessKeyView). The last two are custom linux live-cd's which allow you to either reset a BIOS password, edit Windows Registry from linux.

Are these guys trustable? The website seems pretty cruddy and the English is more like Engrish but the products actually look promising.

OK, I just tried PasswordViewer and I actually quite like it. Here are a couple of pics:

Seeing as that software worked well, I'm gonna give the others a try when I get the chance. The good thing is, most are free

Nice :D. Now if only they included a feature that allows you to back these up via .reg file so you can install them into another computer. This would perfect my computer rentals idea...

Password Viewer- Portable?

I canceled the download because it was labeled 'setup.' I need such a thing to run from bootable flash or CD. Will the .exe run if the program files folder is copied to flash?

I just tried it as well and it's very handy. Recovered all my Thunderbird passwords as well. Great little app for my USB kit, thanks for sharing it!

stolen from nirsoft?

did anyone notice the 6 password recovery tools used in password viewer were ripped off from nirsoft?

after extracting passwordviewer_setup.exe with universal extractor, the icons for the apps looked familiar and if u highlight them, you'll see they didn't even bother to change company name or file description. pathetic..

pic1 shows highlighting of mailpassview from nirsoft after i extracted it from pc disk tools passwordviewer_setup.exe and pic2 is mailpassview and passwordviewer side by side. they look identical too, except pc disk tools added the tabs.
