I've pretty much ruined it at this point. It's one of 4 screws that hold down a laptop keyboard. The others came out fine.

If there is room to do so you could try cutting two notches which basically changes this into a flat head screw and see if you can get it out that way.
Other wise I would try to break off the remaining head and just lift out the keyboard. When putting it back in, you might not need 4 screws to secure it or a few spots of high temp hot glue might be enough to hold it down.
I use something like this:

But here's some general ideas, one of which might help:

The notches idea might be the best way to go I think. I'm not sure how I would break off the head since the space in there is pretty tight. But I don't care at all that there would be only 3 screws holding down the keyboard - it would be fine.
Mr. Jimbo, I am kind of surprised with all the laptops you do that you don't have some kind of extractor.
The notch idea surely works, but with the tight spaces in some laptops, its simple to just pop the extractor in the handle or drill, turn left and out it comes.
But maybe you don't mess up as many screws as I do and don't need it as often.
I have extractors, but that laptop isn't here, is it.![]()
