My point is that I have seen chips that are relabeled. Counterfeit.

We tend to have a bit more trust in our fellow man in some parts of the country. I have a hard time even leaving a receipt for the computers I pick up for repair as people think it's not necessary. "Bring it back when it's fixed or give me a call" is what I hear the most. I've picked up computers from garages, front seats of vehicles, barns and even in the milk-house without ever meeting the customer until the return - heh. Never had a problem over the years but I suspect at some point it'll come to bite me. Many of my repeat customers (business friends) leave a door open for me when they aren't home. (I've thought about wearing a pocket cam to have record....)

My insurance agent would have a stroke if I did that here. The true locals are of that kind of mindset but there are plenty of people from all over the US here because of the demand for oilfield work. Many of them I wouldn't turn my back on.
