The wireless keyboard receiver for my Logitech keyboard broke and got stuck inside my laptop following a rather hard knock. The have managed to fish out the actual receiver chip/PCB and the USB port is still fully functional. If only I could find a way to house the chip/PCB in a new USB male shell I would be able to plug it back in to my laptop and continue using the keyboard. How do I go about this? Can I scavenge a male USB plug from an old power supply cord, break it open and somehow put in the chip/pcb? Or any other ideas? I'd be most grateful for any suggestions.
