Just curious, has anyone ever ran into an issue of not liking any designs? I am thinking about starting a contest, but am really bothered at the "we do not offer refunds." I know $29 isn't much, but it would be an annoyance if I did a contest, and got nothing in those two days. Any thoughts or suggestios from anyone who has used them? Or is it extremely unlikely to not find anything I like?

You need to be actively involved in the process. If you let designers know what you like or want to see different on their submissions you will be fine. I really didn't give much feedback because I wasn't sure what I wanted and I loved the final product.

The number and quality of designs is somewhat dependent upon the dollar amount you submit. As in most things money is involved more is better. Also feedback to the submitters is very important as was already stated.

Good to know, from what I have seen, those who use it, like it. But thanks for the info.

Also good to know, although I am afraid I'd only have the funds to do the minimum. I would hope that would too adversely affect the turn out.

try posting on scriptlance. I had 90+ designers respond to my post within 24hrs and many included concepts with their bids. Ended up having mine done by an artist in Europe for $35 and she gave me quite a few mockups which we tweaked to perfection.

I will look into that as well. Is there a posting fee, or do I just post, and pay when everything is completed?

It is free to post, but also worth paying the $5 up front so the chosen supplier doesn't have to pay any % fee. This also shows that you are more serious. (I believe it is refunded if you don't choose anyone)
