So what did you end up going with here? I've got a client that has TrueCrypt on his machines and one employee, knowing that he was about to be fired changed the password and locked the door. They are suing him but I think he's gonna take that to his grave. Nothing on that drive that can't be reproduced but the lack of backups and no centralized key controls beg for a better solution. Simple peer to peer network with Win 7 Pro so no bitlocker and unlikely to sell them a real server. NAS unit with online backup will handle them fine.
