Bryce Whitty here from Technibble.com, In this episode I am going to share with you how to create content that your prospects actually care about.

I see many managed service providers giving content marketing a go which is great, because its such a powerful way to gain clients.

The one problem I see is many of them choose topics that are way too techie to appeal to the average joe.

It would be like “the best way for businesses to use Microsoft Azure”.

You can get all your virtual machines running there, your active directory domain services there too.

These are great features, and the solution to your clients problems may totally be to put their systems up on Azure.

But that’s not really for them to know at this level.

It’s a little bit like asking the doctor for a specific prescription medicine after you’ve self diagnosed. It’s best to let train professionals figure out the problem and recommend the best solution.

Instead of talking about Azure, talk about the benefits of the cloud. That they don’t need servers in their offices running up the power bill. They don’t need to buy more powerful servers as their needs increase, and so on.

If they like the idea of that, then you can implement your favourite cloud solutions, even if that happens to be Microsoft Azure. Thats the right way to sell specific technologies.
