PC World has released a report that the release candidate for last service pack for Windows XP is now available to everyone starting on this evening.

According to the article, the service pack was only available to several thousand users.

The download size is 580 MB but when users use the Windows Update function, they will get a smaller size version which is approximately 70 MB.

“Windows XP SP3 does not bring significant portions of Windows Vista functionality to Windows XP,” said a spokeswoman from Microsoft.
