A news has been released by various tech sites that if a user has an open Windows Media Player while playing World of Warcraft, then they will experience shorter loading times of the game.

Blizzard, the game’s developer, is currently looking into the anomaly to try to find an explanation on why this phenomena occur.

The news first appeared on WoW’s European forums but players started talking about it on the American forum section of the site as well.

The speed increase was noticeable specifically on the high-traffic sections of the game according to the author of the blog entry at wired.com
