The next Windows Live Messenger will have a new user interface according to Computerworld. The new interface is a graphical technology based on Microsoft’s Windows Presentation Foundation.
Some of the new features of WLM 9.0 is the ability for users to create multiuser chat rooms and share photos with other users. It will also be more integrated with Zune media player.
Currently, WLM 9.0 is in the beta stage. The beta phase started last fall and the company has not made any announcement when the final version will be released.
WLM is the most used instant messenger client according to comScore Inc’s data.
