The Register has released an article about Microsoft’s search engine called “Windows Live”. The article claimed that the search engine returns more malware-infected sites than its competitors such as Google and Yahoo.
It gives an example of how users can test their claim so they (the users) can see the results for themselves.
A statement was released by a Microsoft representative and it says “to the extent that spammers are successful in essentially manipulating results, they will hurt the user experience on all search engines”.
The article also shows that some of the sites only infects computers which are not US-based.
