Updates will become available for Windows 7 Beta on February 24 according to several sites such as Cnet and Techtree.
This will allow Microsoft to ‘test and verify their ability to deliver and manage the updating of Windows 7,’ according to Brandon LeBlanc who mentions it on the Windows blog. There are a total of five updates and it will test the operating system’s servicing structure.
It will be listed at ‘Test Update’ in the control panel of Windows Update. Users can skip these updates by right clicking each update and selecting ‘Hide Update’.
