Just as those that consider the Snow Leopard upgrade for Mac to be a service pack, are either of these "new" operating systems really "new"? The other point I'm disappointed with is that there has been no offering of a "Family Pack" for upgrading multiple computers. My household has 4 systems that I would like to upgrade but $200 is far too much. Now consider if I did not pre-order, the price to upgrade would be almost $500! For me the scales are tipping towards going Mac for personal use. Now I realize that one manufacturer is software only and the other sells hardware but to me it seems as though the "Apple Tax" is on the decline.
