The information about the cost of Windows 7 Basic to Home Premium has also been released. It is $79.99 and this upgrade path targets those who have netbooks which have the Basic version installed on them.

The Home Premium to Professional version would cost $89.99 while the upgrade to Ultimate from Home Premium is $50 more.
