The beta version of the next Windows operating system will be available on or before January 13 according to an article at Computerworld.
The date is based on a website about the MSDN Developer Conference which is an event for programmers that Microsoft promotes.
“All attendees will have a Windows 7 Beta 1 DVD mailed to them when they become available,” notes by Microsoft.
The company was not able to confirm that it will be released on Jan. 13.
