The 64-bit version of Windows 7 beta has hit torrent sites according to an article that was posted earlier today at Ars Technica.
Performance should be quite high if it is like the 32-bit version notes Emil Portalinski, the author of the article. He also writes that this leak is another slap in the face to testers who are waiting for the beta version of Windows 7.
There is an mp3 corruption bug in build 7000, the beta version, but Portalinski writes that a patch should be released any day now so the testers would not have to deal with this problem once Beta 1 is released.

Microsoft released Windows 7 Beta on their website with Internet Explorer 8 on 01/07/09, it is not a surprise that it made it up to the torrent sites the same day. There is a patch available already that came out on 01/08/09. Although downloading a ISO of a DVD doesn’t excite me that much to try the beta, well actually winodws does excite me at all…
Although I have’nt had the time to experiment with Vista, Nor is my computer Strong enough to run it, I think people and consumers in general Gave that operating system a bad name.
In otherwords, Vista failures is Not Microsofts fault. Its Societys fault and the General public as a whole. Some people are just afraid of change.
Once the rumor got around that Vista was bad for some pc’s, that scared people off! from purchasing it, out of fear and ignorace.
Ebay Actually had a video on their site about this same subject, about how people’s ignorances can be, when rumors get spread around
But the to be Honest, I think alot of techies,IT Department, And Counsumers werent ready to make the trasition Over to Windows Xp,because we were spoiled by Xp, Maybe Microsoft should have waited and extra year
to bring Vista To the Market, That way, it gives Microsoft even more time to work out Majority of the bugs.
I defintely will be using Vista and Windows 7 on my next Computer Build, regardless if the bugs haven’t been worked out.
TheQ, So your telling me that microsoft is not a fault for releasing an operating system has issues seeing XP computers on a network, or that the extremely slow transfer speeds issues. Who’s fault would it be? Is it the consumers fault that Microsoft released the final product and consumers purchased Vista with their computer from a manufacturer?
XP had equally troubling issues when it was initially released. And when service pack 1 came out, a lot of computer got slower after the update.
So in regard to your response, i say your wrong, Microsoft is at fault for releasing a product that has major bugs in it just so they can hit the release date that has been pushed back a few time.
Personally i have used vista, i don’t care to use it, but i do think that vista is a good choice for a few people.
People in general have a hard time adjusting to change when they don’t want to change. And when Vista came out, it was a drastic change from when they were used to. Just how many consumers do you think actually investigate Vista prior to purchasing a computer. Most consumers know they want Microsoft Windows.
