Victoria’s Secret Spam

by Lee

Sophos has detected a Pushdo type of spam about a discount on Victoria’s Secret items. The discount is 50 per cent off and the email shows an eight-digit number which says that it is unique.

Onur Komili of Sophos notes that there is a zip file attachment, no company branding, and it has poor grammar. These are signs that users should have registered as red flags to acknowledged that this is not a real email from a company.

The email consists of four paragraphs and it has the subject ‘FREE 50% Discount Card’.
