Various UK Politician Websites – Hacked

by Lee

Ashfiedlconservatives.com, boltonsoutheastconservatives.com and paulbristow.org.uk are some of the Conservative party websites that were hacked according to an article at The Register.

The email function on one of the sites, Conservatives InTouch, was made to send a message which says, “Vote for Labour – NOT US!”.

John Leyden, the author of the article, notes that UK politicians are making a high priority to get their message online including social media channels such as Twitter.

Phishing attacks of several government ministers occurred last week.
