Microsoft announced that they will only release two patches next week.
Computerworld expects that one of the patches will fix a remote code execution flaw that is available for Windows operating systems from the Windows 2000 SP4 version up to Windows Vista. This update may be related to WPAD which stands for Web Proxy Auto-Discovery. It was patched in 1999 but it crept back into later versions of Windows according to the article.
The other patch was rated as important. These two updates will be available starting at 1:00 PM Eastern Time.
