As a friendly reminder, Microsoft will be ending all support for Windows XP service pack 1 as of October 10th. There will no longer be any security updates for Service Pack 1 based installations.

XP users are being informed of this as of September 10th with the following system popup which reads:

“Support for Windows XP SP1 ends October 10, 2006. To continue receiving the latest security updates, click here to grade to the most current Windows XP Service Pack”
