A new email worm has spread globally.

The worm is activated through a file named Read More.exe. When the file is executed, a Trojan called Small.DAM is downloaded into the machines and a backdoor is created for malware users which let them exploit the affected machines.

The subject line of the message is “230 dead as storm batters Europe.” Other alternative file names for the worms are Full Clip.exe, Full Story.exe, and Video.exe.

Researchers believes that the worm originated in Asia. The most likely purpose of this worm is to steal information.
