It would be nice if it backed up the .nk2 file. A lot of people hate when this gets lost or forget to back it up, because now they have to type in all their recipients in Outlook again. Other than that, great tool to automate the rest of the more important items.

For vista just use Windows Easy Transfer (built into vista itself. It backs up all docs and settings for all user accounts. Just run it on vista, then copy the compressed files onto removable device then run WET on the new system.

Sounds like a nice program and it appears to be free as well... Too bad their site says it does not work with Windows Vista. I just upgraded a few months ago too, oh well...

It'll be interesting to see how this works for everyone else--and perhaps there is a similar free program that DOES work with Vista.

Very nice find, I have been looking for something like this for a while now. Thank you.

Can I just ask, what do you use to back up drivers?

That will make pre-formats a little quicker to handle, only if it had a driver backup tool as well it will be a perfect must have technicians program... Well done though

Seems a nice tool make a check list the customers mark off what they want backed up and sign it. If you charge for the backup allow them to opt out on the form but still requires they sign it. That ofcourse is a CYA, Cover Your Ass, tactic that we sadly need.
