A software called Remote Desktop Connection Client for Mac 2 has been released by Microsoft earlier today. Mac users can “easily connect to remote Windows PCs” according to Microsoft.
Some of the features are:
1. A redesigned user interface.
2. Fast Updates and Easy Help – two new tools are added in this version. The Microsoft Error Reporting Tool and Microsoft AutoUpdate.
3. A new authentication method.
4. The ability to print from Windows applications.
This software is a free download for Intel-based and PowerPC-based Macs. There are eight languages that it supports.

A note of warning to other potential users.
This worked fine on a Windows XP system with a single monitor. It royally screwed up the desktop on my Vista 32 bit, two monitor system.
