Apple has released new patches which fixes two holes in its Quicktime multimedia player. The patches provide better security to prevent users from running negative processes when they have visit malicious websites.

The company released a statement which says “”By enticing a user to visit a web page containing a maliciously crafted Java applet, an attacker can trigger the issue which may lead to arbitrary code execution.”

One of the flaws lets an attacker read sensitive information from a user’s PC. The other flaw is about Java in Quicktime.

Both Windows and Mac operating systems are affected. So far, there have been four updates on Quicktime this year which means that it is one of the most vulnerable software from Apple.
