Nine Patches for Microsoft Softwares

Fixes for nine flaws on various Microsoft Softwares including Windows, SQL Server, and Exchange were released today.

It is “largest synchronized security update in the history of the Internet,” says the researcher who uncovered the Windows DNS bug.

Two of the patches are MS08-039 and MS08-040. The MS08-039 patch fixes a flaw that exists on both Exchange 2003 and 2007 while the other is an update for Microsoft’s SQL Server.

These security updates can be downloaded at Microsoft Update, Windows Update services, or, Windows Server Update services.
