Apple has introduced new iMac models. The cheapest model is listed at $1,199 and it comes with a 21.5″ screen.
“We’re really happy to announce the final products of our holiday lineup,” said Tim Cook of Apple. He is the company’s chief operating officer.
The 27-inch model starts at $1,699.
All iMacs will include Magic Mouse, Apple’s new mouse based partly on the multitouch technology that is included in iPhone. Consumers can buy it separately for $69.

The new back lit screens are supposed to be really nice. The high end 27″ Imac does have an option for the I7 quad core chip. I have always like the design of the aluminum Imacs. Apple also released a new macbook white with a unibody design.
Drooling pretty hard over the new 27″ iMacs. Beautiful display, core i7 quad, 16gigs of RAM and 2 terabyte HDD, and can install Windows 7 in bootcamp. Whats not to love?
If I had the cash i’d buy one right now… Glad they brought out a new mouse, I thought the Might Mouse was pretty crap
Well- it’s almost affordable. Good job Apple! I will get this PC when it’s 2/3 off at craigslist about a year and a half from now- so I will wait and see- I can’t drop that much cash on something I rarely use…although I am very interested in i7 on a Mac….
