ForumsA new spam about Facebook has been reported by The Register. It notifies a user that he or she has been reported for violation of the site’s terms of service. It includes a link to an application named “f a c e b o o k – - closing down!!!”. After a user installs the software, it will spam the friends of the user with the same message.
The spam started on Thursday and it already spawned a lot of Facebook users. This is the second Facebook spam this week.
The senior security advisor at Trend Micro said, “These two events in just a single week mean that it’s about time that Facebook reviews its application hosting policy.”

Bad news.. It seems spammers found a hole in fb system, this is 2nd spam.. Now we can expect much more, unless they take care of the problem…
This happened to my wife’s facebook…by the time she went to show me, the app was not longer available and neither was the link to the site “explaining” the terms. So far it is left only to Facebook, nothing installed on the computer.
