A new software has been released for businesses which has Macs. The software is called MozyPro and it is based on the consumer edition called MozyHome. Businesses could manage backup and restore processes from a web-based console.

“MozyPro makes it easy for businesses using OS X as well as Windows to manage backups of all their computers from a single place,” said Vance Checketts of Mozy.

MozyPro supports servers such as iCal server, Exchange, and SQL Server. The service cost for each license is $6.95 and it costs an additional 50 cents per gigabyte per month.

I like mosso but dont go with them.

What I wished they would do is make a reseller or managed account. I have half a dozen clients the need online data backup. If they offered a managed account where I could control all of em I would be with them in a snap.

…altho being that they added mac is huge for since I work with this one web design firm which could benefit from it.
