All Windows Vista versions will be on 1 DVD Disk
As you may have heard there are going to be a “few” versions of Microsoft Vista when it is finally released. However, what is interesting is that they will all be on the same DVD. This will allow customers who want to upgrade their copy to just purchase an upgraded license rather than get a whole new box/cd.

To prevent confusion they will also be color coded:
Light Green - Home Basic
Dark Green - Home Premium
Blue - Vista Business
Platinum - Ultimate Version

Europe will get 2 extra versions Home N and Business N offering no media player per the 2004 legal ruling against Microsoft

Introducing Windows Vista’s Recovery Enviroment (WinRE) - WinRE is new for Windows Vista and completely replaces the recovery console in Windows XP. You should be able to perform most tasks of recovery console from WinRE.

Microsofts website in 1994 - Wikipedia is hosting a screenshot of what the Microsoft website looked like in 1994.
