Craig Schmugar of McAfee said, “In the short-term, it will be the infrastructure side of things. In the long term, it will be digital entertainment.”
Schmugar announced this statement at a press event in San Francisco.
The recent flaw in Windows DNS is a good example about the future of online attacks according to Schmugar. The flaw was exploited with a few online attacks.
Wi-Fi attacks may also increase since people are getting used to connect on wireless connections wherever they go. Security experts has already warned the public that an attack can happen by intercepting online communication when using Wi-Fi.
