Ten security updates were released by Microsoft today. The patches fixes a total of 31 vulnerabilties on software such as Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer (IE).
Six of them were designed to fix Windows vulnerabilities. Three patches are for an Office component or application. The other one is a fix for a flaw in IE.
“You’ve got to work everywhere, servers and workstations, and even Macs if you have them. It’s not getting any better, the number of vulnerabilities [Microsoft discloses] continues to grow,” said the chief technology officer at Qualys.
