On Monday, 28th of August, Intel released a fix for its “PROSet Config” software which had a memory leak which would slowly use more and more of a computers available memory.

Intels “PROSet Config” is designed to configure Intel based wireless devices and offer extra features that the standard Windows Wireless Zero Configuration doesnt offer.
The process S24EvMON.exe installed with the 9.0.4.17 driver would use an ever increasing amount of handles and memory. Intel have been aware of this for some time and released a fix last Monday which can be found Here.
