Many tech sites have reported that the latest “Patch Tuesday” update caused problems on Internet Explorer. The problem includes unable to connect to the internet or open the program itself.
This affects both versions 6 and 7 of Internet Explorer.
The wired.com blog entry found a solution in Microsoft’s Vista forum. It suggests that users should make their homepage be a blank page. Then, they need to reboot their computers. The last step is to change the homepage to the one that the user want.
Users can also uninstall the last update which is labeled as MS07-069.
