This is a marvellous idea. In fact, one of the technicians we used some time ago left his sticker on our computer with service date and next due date.

I think this is something that never occurred to me before -
Nice tip

Vistaprint are also good for making fridge magnets. Clients lose or give away business cards but if they have a magnet on their fridge that they see every day, you will definitely stay in mind..

We made some custom address labels with our logo, phone and website address from vistaprint.com. If you do a Google search for address labels, business cards, etc... you can download their templates, create your own custom promotional materials and get a good deal. Gotta watch them though, you're limited to one deal per order (I found out after they billed me). They'll literally give away their products for free, but make their money on shipping. If you don't mind waiting 3 weeks... you can get 250 cards for $7 or $8 USD.

Not affiliated or promoting them, but for someone looking to get some cards or promo materials for the first time, it might be worth a shot.

Plus, the address labels are perfect for slapping on a clients computer.

One tip, just ask permission first. I had a printer repaired a couple years back and they didn't ask, they just slapped a big old nasty sticker on my printer. You know the kind of adhesive that won't come off without making a big mess? They didn't ask, and I felt violated. I wouldn't have cared... if they just showed the simple courtesy.

Awesome ideas! I imagine some would be good for other service-oriented businesses too. Thanks.
