Alex Eckelberry from Sunbelt Software noticed that there were malicious links on some of the blogs from Google’s Blogger site. He made this discovery a few days ago. Over one hundred blogs have been updated with new entries which are actually fake entries.

The links point to Storm Trojan downloads which is one of the most popular topics on the subject of computer virus in recent weeks.

“The criminals responsible for this spam campaign are experts at exploiting social engineering to propagate their botnets,” said Bradley Anstis. He is from Marshal which is a security firm.

Eckelberry does not know the exact way how the fake entries were posted to Blogger.

Google has not yet made any comment about this issue.
