A ReviewMe.com Review:
Your business is up and running, your phone is always ringing with new clients, you have hired a handful of techies to go out and do onsite jobs and you even have a secretary to take calls and manage paperwork. Business is booming.
It is at this point in your businesses life you will need to start thinking about how to store and manage this information. Many new onsite repair businesses start with an application such as Outlook which is great for one man operations but is poor when multiple users need to access it without an exchange server.
This is where it might be worth running a small business CRM such as Relenta CRM. Relenta CRM is a remote website for managing email, contacts, files and your calendar which can easily handle multiple people using at the same time. Best of all you and your staff can access it from anywhere with an internet connection such as your office, home or at a clients house.
Relenta is well laid out and handles nicely making heavy use of web 2.0 technology making pages load very fast. As for how it matches up against other CRM software, it is more focused on group productivity than salesforce automation. It has fewer features than other CRM’s such as Salesforce which is not always a bad thing as it prevents it from being bloated and makes it easy to use.
Its E-Mail Management section is laid out in an Outlook Express style with the folder lists on the left and the messages on the right and supports sending newsletters to your clients, rules-based processing to file certain emails and fight spam, auto-follow-ups to keep a continuous flow between you and your client, supports external pop email accounts and even allows you to create a “canned response library†which can be a godsend when dealing with clients (“my computer doesn’t work!â€Â….â€Âdid you try turning it off and on?â€Â). Migration from an email client such as Outlook can be done easily by exporting your emails and contacts as a CSV file.
Its Contact Management section shows folders down the left and contacts on the right which expands with the contacts information when you click on a name. Unlike Outlook, Relenta CRM allows you to sort your contacts by level of interest, type of contact, priority and tracks your activity with them such as email communications, phone calls, notes and reminders.
The Online Calendar section is ideal if you have contracted techies who are based out of their home. Being an online calendar they can just logon from home to see where they need to be and when. You can also use its filters to see where your team members will be or see all future events with a certain client only.
In conclusion, the only negative thing I can find about the entire CRM is that I can’t sync it with my PDA which would be handy if I was on the road without an internet connection. Otherwise, it’s a really nice clean CRM.
Relenta offers a free 30 day trial to see if it is for you and is affordable once the trial time expires. Definitely worth checking out.
