Looks like Wireguard has put out a stable version from what i have read on many forums it much more reliable than openvpn and there are much less dropped connections.

They just released a Windows client update that includes the ability for limited users to operate tunnel connections. Assuming this works, it'll finally be in a usable state for us to actually deploy.

I wouldn't say it's more reliable than OpenVPN, it is generally faster though.
