Win11 23H2 is here, and it's a big yawn, at least it is to me . . .

I'd not know that anything at all was different from 22H2, although I did consent to the last preview CU under 22H2, so already had the Copilot preview as a result of that.

This isn't a surprise, really, given what's been being said about 23H2 for months now. It's not a "major" feature update.
 

The major feature is Windows Copilot, which translated is ChatGPT just replaced Windows Search.

That's a game changer, but only for those that know how to use it, and for now is very incomplete for most users. It's a foundational element useful for more expansion of this technology that will be realized over the next year.

We're also getting passkey support, which is going to be an interesting thing to watch users screw up.

There is a lot to be excited about, but it's also relatively normal iterative improvement and not much that's flashy and transformative.

There are some updated voices for the text to speech engine in there, those might be useful for accessibility users.
