What's in your Every Day Carry (EDC)?

So, for those of you who are gadget geeks, what's currently in your EDC?

Mine:

  • Gerber Clutch Multi Tool
  • Coast G19 LED Inspection Flashlight
  • Paracord Bracelet
  • Assortment of flash drives
  • Zebra F301 Stainless Steel Ballpoint Pen
 
Wouldn't consider myself a gadget geek but I do carry two USB flash drives, a cheap LED flashlight/pointer and a Liong Mah (Design #5) knife.
That Gerber Mini tool looks good but seems discontinued? I wouldn't want to lug round a full sized one.
Is there a replacement model of similar size?

Actually I just pack an old swiss army knife I've had for 20 years, my lighter, and a mini pen.
Always have those things on me.
 
Nexus 7 tablet with all accoutrements.
Phone.
Good box knife.
Leatherman.
Sometimes a laptop.
Lots of mini legal pads and pens.
Couple of flash drives (one encrypted).
Write-protected sd card with usb adapter (removal tools).
Usb hdd.
Flash light.
Key ring with various server cabinet and chassis keys.
Box of matches.
Candles.
Flares.
Emergency blanket.
Water.
Packet of iodine tabs.

I once was stranded in the middle of southern Missouri in January in a blizzard in the night. If it hadn't been for my little survival pack, I would have frozen to death. Now, I keep it in the car always. It's small enough to put right under the seat.

I had a similar experience several years back in the North Carolina mountains, so I too keep my vehicle stocked with such things. Additionally, I keep a full tool set, emergency air compressor, first aid kit, batteries, small survival pack, spare pair of glasses, etc.
Very rarely am I more than walking distance from my vehicle, so I keep it well stocked with all sorts of stuff to cover several contingencies.

I carry on my person:
  • Gerber Crucial Multitool
  • Kanguru flash drive
  • Droid phone
  • Little coin cell powered keychain flashlight
  • Backup set of car keys
  • Pen and small notepad
 
SOG pe2, streamlight protac 2AA flashlight, couple flash drives, interchangeable tip screwdriver set, cell phone, glasses. A simple set-up, but it covers most of what I need.
 
If we are talking about just what I carry on me at all times and not my "geek bag"


1. Wallet
2. Knife (Benchmade, Emerson, Spyderco ect)
3. Small flashlight
4. Kahr K9 9mm carried in a BladeTech holster
5. Spare magazine
6. Keys
7. 3 flash drives. All 3 Sandisk. One titanium encrypted (personal data), one with Active boot disc installed, one with a 4 gig mobile kit (all portable apps)
8. iPhone

Empty USB 8GB
Mini DVD with Hiren and ERD

Notepad and 2 pens
Wallet with credit cards, cash and bussines cards

On my person I carry:
  • Leathman Charge AL multitool
  • Bic lighter
  • Small AAA flashlight
  • Extra AAA battery
  • A USB stick with software tools (d7, etc)
  • Small Buck folding knife
  • Watch (I hate pulling out my phone to check the time)
  • Smartphone
  • Wallet
  • Keys

I also have a satchel (or man-purse, or whatever you want to call it) which I take with me. I'll spare you the full listing, but it has things like my ereader, a first aid kit, small games and toys for my kids, and some general fix-it stuff. I also keep a toolbox, blankets and emergency supplies in the car.
