I have a local supplier that is selling the 128GB variant of this card for under $40 Canadian, I am building a few storage modules and have a M.2 to Sata adapter, but can't get my head around the damn keys.

WDC says it's NVMe, but it's keyed B+M, which according to the M.2 spec means it should support Sata, but I can't seem to find an answer.

Any ideas?

M.2 can be a bit confusing!
An M.2 drive is always only SATA or NVMe. It's the slot in the motherboard that might accept one or both of these types.

I've never used the key method of determining it. Just google the drive model and you can find out in seconds. Some laptops in the past only accepted NVMe or SATA but not both, not an issue with new laptops because they're all NVMe.
